  6.    Please be aware that supplying false information in order to gain 
  7.    access to this (or any other) BBS is in violation of the Federal 
  8.    Electronic Communications Act.

  10.    1: All personal information I have supplied in my registration is 
  11.       true and accurate. 
  12.    2: I understand that the Sysop can see ALL private mail and I grant 
  13.       full permission to the Sysop to view private mail to or from me 
  14.       during the normal course of system maintenance. 
  15.    3: I understand that the Sysop of the _____________ BBS has no 
  16.       control over my use or misuse of any software downloaded from 
  17.       this system and I will not hold the Sysop responsible for any 
  18.       damage caused by said use/misuse of downloaded software. 
  19.    4: I understand that the Sysop of _____________ BBS may deny my 
  20.       access to the system at any time, for any reason, without prior 
  21.       notice.

  27.                       SYSTEM RULES / CODE OF CONDUCT

  29. 1)  This is not a democracy.  You are our guest and you are expected to act
  30.     as a good and gracious visitor. You may expect the same treatment in
  31.     return. By using this system, it is understood that you agree to all these
  32.     rules.

  34. 2)  This board is not for questionable or illegal activities.  We do not
  35.     approve of software piracy or phone phreaking.   When in doubt, rule 1
  36.     applies.

  38. 3)  There are expressions that are not considered polite in society.  These
  39.     will not be used here either. We will not bitch about an occasional
  40.     Damn or so, but careful. When in doubt, rule 1 applies.

  43. 4)  You agree not to deliberately insult, slander, degrade or belittle any
  44.     other user.  You agree that each other user has a right to have an opinion
  45.     and express it and is not expected to change.   You agree to not be too
  46.     easily bothered or provoked by any other user.   Let the Sysops know about
  47.     any abuse and it will be investigated and dealt with! Rule 1 applies.

  50.    The penalty for not following the rules are simple:
  51.                                       First offense, you get a warning.
  52.                            Second offense, your privileges are reduced.
  53.                           Third offense, you are banned from the board.
  54.  
  55.    To re-instate normal privileges for a minor infraction, you would
  56.     be required to pay $5.00.
  57.    To re-instate for major infraction you would be required to pay an
  58.     application fee of $30.00 and petition the System Operator in writing.
  59.    You may appeal to the system owner if you think that you have been
  60.     judged inappropriately.
